Traditional soya products – TOFU

Before you start preparing any dishes using TOFU, you have to realize that regular white TOFU is of neutral, plain taste. To become tastier, it must be added some flavors. As Tofu conquers world markets, it takes over tastes and flavors of different nations. In Slovak recipes you will find TOFU tasting as goose meat, tofu cracklings to put on typical Slovak dumplings (halushky), etc.
There are many different ways TOFU could be “turned into“, e.g. meat, soups, salads, spreads, various kinds of tofu dressing and mayonnaise as well as sweet tofu. There are definitely no limits when it comes to fantasy and imagination.
SOYA DRINKS

Japanese, Chinese and Koreans have been drinking soya beverages for hundreds of years. This kind of drink is an inseparable part of lives of people in South-East Asia. Some of them prepare a fresh drink every day, according to ancient recipes, others prefer a ready-to-use soya beverage, which can be bought both in Tetra Pak packaging and bottled. It is similar to milk packaging as we know it here in Europe. Soya drinks of different flavors are served as a beverage and also as a light soup with vegetables and noodles.
